             "ACADEMIC.FAIL", "we", "us", or "our": Refers to the owner and operator of the website, blog, and conference.

             "User", "you", or "your": Any individual or entity accessing or using our website, blog, or registering for our conference.

             "Services": Collectively, the annual education conference, blog content, newsletters, and any related offerings.

             "Conference Registration": The process by which a User registers to attend the annual education conference.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the ACADEMIC.FAIL website, blog, or registering for our conference, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Services.

3. Conference Registration and Payment

1.          Eligibility: Conference registration is open to individuals over 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).

2.          Registration Process: Users must complete the online registration form and pay the applicable fees.

3.          Fees and Payment: All fees are quoted in AUD and must be paid in full at the time of registration. We accept credit card and PayPal payments.

4.          Confirmation: Upon successful payment, a confirmation email will be sent. Please retain this email as proof of registration.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

1.          User Cancellations: You may cancel your registration by providing written notice to us at least 30 days prior to the conference start date. A partial refund (minus a AUD 50 administration fee) will be issued.

2.          Late Cancellations: Cancellations received less than 30 days before the conference are non‑refundable.

3.          Conference Changes or Cancellation by ACADEMIC.FAIL: We reserve the right to modify the program, speakers, or venue. If we cancel the conference entirely, registered attendees will receive a full refund of conference fees only.

5. Intellectual Property and Content Use

1.          Website and Blog Content: All content on the website and blog, including articles, graphics, logos, and images, is our intellectual property or used with permission.

2.          User License: You are granted a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to access and view content for personal, non-commercial use.

3.          Prohibited Use: You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any content without our express written permission.

6. User-Generated Content

1.          Definition: "User-Generated Content" includes any text, images, or materials you submit to the blog (e.g., comments, forum posts).

2.          License Grant: By submitting content, you grant ACADEMIC.FAIL a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, and publish that content.

3.          Responsibility: You represent and warrant that you own or have obtained all necessary rights to submit the content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.

1.          No Professional Advice: Content on the website, blog, and conference presentations is for general informational purposes and does not constitute legal, educational, or professional advice.
